Meet Julie Jordan Laux, our Goombay Bash 2022 Honorary Chair!

We are honored to welcome Julie Jordan Laux, Owner of J. Jordan Homes, as our 20th Annual Goombay Bash Presented by Becknell Industrial Honorary Chair!

Julie - a daughter, sister, mother, friend and business owner - grew up as one of 5 sisters who were close in age and close as friends. Julie is the proud mother of seven children, three of whom were brought by marriage to her immensely supportive husband Doug Laux, in 1993.

J. Jordan Homes, an industry leading luxury brand residential construction company servicing Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Western Springs and surrounding areas of Illinois, was created by Julie in 2006. Julie serves as the Owner & Creative Director of J. Jordan Homes and has a passion to help her clients create the home of their dreams.

Like all of our H Foundation supporters, the tag line “Cancer Is Personal” resonates deeply within Julie. In December of 2020, Julie lost her very loved sister Jodi after a brutal battle with pancreatic cancer.

“Jodi endured this battle with grace, wit and lots of grit. It was an honor, albeit a terribly sad one, to witness. She had an immensely successful career at Procter & Gamble and subsequently Hertz and was well known for her sayings “Get Shit Done (GSD)” and “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?” We will miss her forever and honor her memory the very best that we can.”
