What to Expect at the 2016 Goombay Bash

Hello All Goombayers!
We are very excited for our 16th Annual Goombay Bash presented by Cadillac of Naperville this Saturday, July 16th! To help make your night even better, I wanted to reach out to you and personally share with you some highlights of the evening and ways you can help us make this the best Goombay Bash yet!!
1. Attire
The Goombay Bash is a casual celebration. Catch the Caribbean spirit and wear your Hawaiian shirts, sundresses, shorts and sandals!
2. Parking
Arrive early to ensure parking. Valet is available for all guests starting at 2:30pm until the reserve spots are filled. Doors open at 5:00pm. This will also give you ample time to peruse our amazing silent auction and enjoy the incredible views of Chicago's skyline from Navy Pier. Our Welcome Program begins at 7:00pm and full program begins at 8:15pm.

3. Guest Buses
We do have a guest bus that will leave from the corner of Madison and Harris in LaGrange at 4:00pm to get down to Navy Pier. The bus will leave from Navy Pier at 10:45pm to return home. The price of the bus is $15. Pass this along for guests who do not want to fight traffic!

No physical tickets will be needed for the event. All guest's names are registered on the guest list. Table assignments will be given when you arrive.
5. Opportunities to Give
There are many opportunities to help us fundraise to find a cure for cancer during the evening, including:
- Live Auction
- Paddle Raiser
- Silent Auction
- Best of Live Raffle
- Balloon Raffle
- Grand Raffle
- $10 for $10,000 sunglasses
6. Special Guests
Special guests for the evening include Dan Hampton, Jay Hilgenberg, and Steve McMichael of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl team, George Wendt, "Norm" from television's Cheers, and Ryan Baker, CBS2 Sports Anchor as celebrity emcee. We may also have a few surprise guests join us... you just never know who is going to stop by.
7. Food Stations
Back by popular demand this year is food stations. Tropical, tasty, and totally different (no fear... we still have my favorites... our carving station and shrimp cocktail tubs).
I am honored and humbled to have you join me at the 16th Annual Goombay Bash. I am SO proud of the hard work of the H Foundation Board and we are excited to see each and every one of you Saturday night... I KNOW this will be the best Goombay Bash yet! Don't forget, doors open at 5:00pm and you won't want to miss the start of the program at 7:00pm.
